Options: We have a range of patterned options to choose from. Most of our options spread across our 3 width options, 20 mm, 25 mm and 38 mm wide*, some are only available in 25 mm. Please see the picture of options in the scroll above or a description at the end of this text. You can also choose your metal hardware options in silver or black. *Our 38 mm wide collar uses a 38 mm wide webbing and a 40 mm buckle.
Design: The collar design itself is simple, so the fun comes from the grosgrain ribbon which is sewn onto a smooth webbing in a complementary colour (or pick the custom listing to choose your own!) These materials make the collar easy to adjust to any size, even whilst on your dog and are thick enough to stay in the position you put it at!* You can’t see the webbing once on the dog in our 25 and 38 mm wide options, but can see a small strip either side of the webbing in our 20 mm width. If you prefer to pick your webbing colour specifically please just get in touch. * If you have an extreme puller (really extreme) we may be able to offer a more suitable style if you are worried about the collar stretching or budging.
Materials: We used polyester/nylon grosgrain ribbon, a smooth webbing made from polyester/polypropylene and polyester thread. This means the fabric is less absorbent than natural materials and rot resistant. It will also dry a little quicker! We use the metal D rings and tri-glides (like our BioThane collars) which are paired with a tough acetal clip buckle. *The silver metal/black acetal clip is not available in our 38 mm wide collar.
Making: The ribbon is sewn onto our webbing in a matching colour to hide the stitch lines as much as possible, on some designs this means 2 colours. We then construct the collar with wide stitching and numerous rows of it for security! Our logo is stamped on a synthetic cork before being glued and stitched on.
Bonus: Plus the 38 mm wide collar is great for protecting skinny sighthound necks!
Wash with mild detergent by hand (max temp 30°C), and leave to air dry. You can use a sponge to help wash the inside of grease build up too!
We don’t recommend the washing machine because of potential scratching of components in the spin cycle.
